I am currently 27w2d and can't figure out when the third trimester begins. If you just do the simple math, it would be 26.3 but I have seen all over the place online (go figure. ) Anyway what do you (or your doctor) consider the beginning of the third tri?

28 weeks I what I consider to be the start of the 3rd. I think 14 weeks is the start of the second.

@simplyfelicity: Ya, not sure why but that is what my Dr follows. Prob because many people give birth after 37 weeks?

28 weeks.

I went by what my FF app said in the milestones list: 2nd tri started the 12th wk & 3rd tri started 27th wk.

I asked my midwives, because their calendar said 26 weeks. She said their office considers 27 weeks the start of third trimester.

Every pregnancy app and pregnancy book told me different things for 2nd tri and 3rd tri. I went with 28 weeks. Either way your almost there!
