I clean and shop but otherwise I get really bored when DH works weekends. I want to call a friend to hang out but everyone's DH is off work so they're usually busy with family time.
Does anyone else's SO work weekends?

DH's schedule is split so his off days are usually during the week... I just count it like a week day & do stuff around the house & with the kids.

LO and I relax. If it's a nice day we might walk to the park. otherwise we're stuck at home as usual (we only have the one car) but luckily DH doesn't work weekends too often!

We try to make plans with friends or family ahead of time.

Yes, DH works 7am-4pm every Sunday and Saturdays half day. Sometimes I make Saturday plans for a playdate. Otherwise, it's the usual-parks, beach, shop, stay home and play. Everyone is usually doing family stuff on Sunday and we don't have close family very close by so I just signed up for more swimming lessons to keep us active. When LO was under a year it was super hard now it's much easier, even relaxing, but I still miss DH. Oh yah, and I clean for maybe 1-2 hours but this weekend I didn't.

DH has been working Saturdays and I still try to do something fun with E. Usually we go swimming at my mom's!

DH works every second weekend and I usually just lounge and watch movies. Like you, everyone elses spouses are off and they are busy doing stuff.

DH works nights, 6 on, then 3 off so he's usually asleep on weekend days. I hang out with DS, go to the farmers market, go to Target and Starbucks, and usually go to lunch with our friends on Sundays after church. It makes me wish we lived closer to my family!

DH has worked the past two weekends, I do a little shopping, cleaning, napping, visit friends, take the DD's to the park
