I am doing EASY with my LO right now, and she eats roughly every 3 hours. I'll feed her, change her diaper, play with her and then put her down for a nap within 60-75 minutes since her last nap. She is not the best napper so she'll sometimes wake up 45-60 minutes before her next feeding. I sometimes can't get her to fall back asleep, but she'll fuss if i put her down so i end up carrying her around for an hour.
Does anyone else experience this? What do you do?

When LO was little, I did EASY as well and if she woke up earlier than anticipated, I would just play with her but nothing too stimulating.

I also do EASY with LO but it didn't always work. When I first started she often had trouble napping without nursing so is nurse her until she fell asleep. She eventually learned to nap without nursing to sleep. We still have days where she wakes up too early for next bottle (when she's with my mom while I'm at work) and my mom will try to play with her until it gets closer to feeding time. However if she seems genuinely hungry mom will give her the bottle earlier. This generally happens during her growth spurts. On weekends I nurse exclusively and will nurse whenever she waked up and when she seems hungry.

My LO is 12 weeks old.
@mediagirl: EASY is a sleep training technique from The Baby Whisperer. Eat-Activity-Sleep-You. I have been loosely following it since 8 weeks. It has made my life so much easier since following it.
@elisat: i sometimes try not to get too fixated on the time but it's hard not to. I dont know how people can get their LO to wake up or sleep at the same time every day!

Yeah, we tried really hard to do EASY, but baby only sleeps for 30 minutes at a time, so it doesn't really work as planned for us. Sometimes when baby wakes up 30-60 minutes before her next feeding time I just get her up and let her play. If she wakes up more than 60 minutes before her next feeding, or if she's still acting cranky, then I try my hardest to get her down for another nap. I usually have to get her up to play at least for a few minutes to tire her out a bit, and the second nap usually only works in her carseat or on me.
