I'm assuming, I'll always get stuffed bunnies (or stuffed animals) every Easter. What do you do with them? At some point, you'll have too many bunnies.
This is only our first Easter but maybe I'll get in the habit of donating them. Maybe it will be a good tradition to start with the kids.
ETA: I only got two bunnies from family, but I did buy some stuffed bunnies for the twins this year.

I put a stuffed Bonnie that she got last year back into her Easter basket this year. She doesn't mind yet. 
Right now we just keep piling the stuffed animals up but eventually I don't know. We also now have about ten Easter baskets. My mom usually sends us a basket so I'm going to give her the empties to reuse next year at least.

@Foodnerd81: I was thinking to redistribute the Easter baskets so people don't have to keep buying new baskets each year.
Not sure how others feel about me regifting baskets, but I could tell giftees to reuse the baskets they gave my kids. Especially some of the ones that are personalized. I doubt my kids would notice.

How about what to do with stuffed animals in general?? My 2 month old already has two full boxes of stuffed animal gifts... I have no idea what a 2 month old is going to do with them....

@DesertDreams88: Yup, we have a lot of stuffed animals. It also doesn't help that if I see any whales, dolphins or shark stuffed animals, I'll buy them.

I pack them all away with other Easter stuff. I do the same thing with all the holiday specific stuffed animals and toys. It's fun for the kids to play with them as the holiday approaches and makes our house feel a little more festive, I guess.

Why would you continue to get them bunnies every year if they already have one? It seems like the problem could be solved by not creating it in the first place. As for getting too many stuffed animals in general though, I totally agree. Our police station takes gently used ones to distribute to kids in traumatic situations. Maybe look into that?

@rattles: Are you directing your question at me? This is our first Easter with the twins so I bought stuffed bunnies well before we got gifts from family. I don't think I'll buy bunnies in the futures since we already have them, but it won't prevent other family members from buying them for our kids.

Yeah, on track to have way too many stuffed animals & DD is only 10mos. 
She even got the same bunny again this year that the grandparents put in a basket for her last Easter before she was even born. Lol.

@rattles: I bought LO1 a stuffed bunny for his first Easter. He is 3.5 and we have about 8 Easter-ish stuffed animals now. It seems they just accumulate even if you don't buy them.

@bluestriped bee: oh okay, I read the "I'm assuming I'll always get bunnies" as your plan to buy them. Maybe it won't be an issue then? My girls got them as gifts from family their first Easter but didn't after that. We're 6 Easters in (combined) and only have 3.

All Easter animals (bunnies, ducks, lambs) get packed away in the Easter box. She gets more and more excited each holiday as she knows there will be holiday specific stuffed animals to play with.

We do what @skipra: mentioned for all holiday themed toys (stuffed and otherwise) - pack them away with the decorations and bring them out each year. It makes them new and fun again, they can double as decirations, and it's easy to see/keep track of what we have, because I store in large clear Sterilite containers.

We do the same-pack them away and bring them out the next year. She loves unpacking the decorations and find old friends again!

@bluestriped bee: It may be that as the twins get older you'll get less and less stuff for them. DS is two now and the stream of gifts is definitely smaller than it once was.
I basically have a giant garbage bag full of stuffed animals that need to be given away. Most were never even played with, he never had much interest.

I got DS a monogrammed bunny last year for his first Easter and won't be getting him anymore bunnies in the future. (He's 19mo.) MIL got him a bunny that may end up our dog's thanks to @LBee: and her genius idea!
I did also get DS a panda bla bla doll for his basket this year bc his version of the word panda is so cute that I want him to say it all the time. He has a pretty large menagerie going in his crib right now -- fox lovey, giant Elmo (sometimes the backup Elmo joins in so then we have "two Melmos"), a dog, a raccoon pillow thingy, a jellycat elephant, and now the panda. So, when the twins are toddlers, they too may decide they want to fill their cribs with stuffed animals and then they'll get used!

I was going to be this only ONE stuffed animal person. Yah, that didn't happen. We donate and I still have a hundred. Most are in in a hammock hanging in the corner. Some are in a giant ugly cardboard box waiting for their next house.

@LBee: Haha, I love this! Maybe our dog will "accidentally" get a hold of some of LO's stuffed animals.
I am anti-stuffed animal. I just don't get the allure of having tons (and I know my daughter might feel differently and I remember having tons growing up but that's sort of why I'm not into it!). It's not so bad yet but in-laws seems to be giving her them regularly. She does for some reason love the one she got from FIL for Easter so we'll keep that one for now
