french toast casserole and an egg casserole, as you mentioned. Any way you could make these 2-3 days ahead of time and just keep them in the refrigerator and reheat Christmas morning?

Growing up, we always did big "country breakfasts" with bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, grits, etc. My parents just made it all after presents were opened.

We do bacon, eggs, biscuits, monkey bread or cinnamon rolls, fruit. Sometimes, my mom will find a recipe for something fun and make that, but it changes each year.

Quiche.

We do a big christmas eve breakfast with DH's immediate family. I did cinnamon rolls last year. There's always eggs, fruit, etc.

@Smurfette: I always cook this breakfast casserole, and I love it because it doesn't use a million eggs and doesn't have to set overnight

I didn't think about cheese danishes, but that sounds so good - might have to add that!

Generally, my dad makes pain perdue (french toast), home fries, bacon, and fruit.

Not sure what we will have this year since we haven't decided where we will be Christmas morning yet (ILs house or ours).

When I cook for just DH and I, we do orange rolls and breakfast bake (casserole). My mom makes orange rolls and hanky pankies. When we do breakfast with the whole extended family it is breakfast bake, orange rolls, hanky pankies, and ramaki.

I'm doing a crockpot scramble! With hash browns, sausage, and cheese.

Homemade cinnamon buns and some sort of egg casserole.

Nothing specific, but there is always ham because its left over from the night before. This year I may start some breakfast/ brunch traditions though.

Each year we come up with a special breakfast item. Last year we had caramel bottomed french toast. This year I am thinking about chocolate/peanutbutter cinnamon rolls

We go to my parents for 9 on Christmas morning and open gifts. We have coffee and a delicious cinnamon pull roll thingy that makes the house smell so yummy. Then we make brunch: waffles with whipped cream and assorted fruit, bacon, eggs and hash browns.

Breakfast CASSEROLE??? WTF?????

We have a full English! Bacon, sausages, eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, plum tomatoes, fried bread, hot buttered toast and a pot of tea. Excellent.

When I was little it was always scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and pigs in a blanket.

Now, my BIL usually makes omelets. We won't be there this year, though, so I don't know what we're having.

Hubs family always has Coffee Bread (sooooo delicious) and my family always has crescents!
