I really like that he is all business, but always takes time to answer my questions and not necessarily rush our appointment. also, no idea how he's done this or if i've just been lucky, but i saw him at every appointment with DS! plus, he wasn't on call the weekend DS was born and it was a holiday weekend--and he delivered him anyway AND it was at like 2am!

I haven't liked an OB to date. I have had two children, pregnant with my third, and I hated both of the ones that delivered my children. My current OB is ok so far, but I have only seen her three times. I liked how she talked to my daughter during my last appointment and never made it seem weird that my children were in the room during a pap smear hahaha.

She is knowledgeable, takes time to answer questions, punctual and friendly.

Everything! She is so outgoing and knows what she's talking about. She was done for the day when LO was born but stayed 2 extra hours to deliver. I love her!

He has his own practice and is the only OB/GYN on staff! I've always seen him for all of my appointments for both pregnancies. He's gentle, kind, and doesn't make me feel like I'm ever being rushed.

I don't have an ob & haven't really liked any that I've had in the past (gynos included). My last MW was okay, but she was more a "no choice" kind of provider since it was her or an automatic repeat cesarean.
I LOVE the MW I have this time though...
her! She really prioritizes building a relationship with me so I feel totally comfortable & trust her in birth AND she gave me a fantastical binder at my intake appt FULL of information ranging from important to call numbers, to nutrition info, birth prep/plan info, every test she provides AND alternatives (like a postprandial glucose instead of the cola drink), and even post partum care info (including info for someone who does encapsulation).I honestly never thought their were providers out there like her! *swoon*

she is the sweetest doctor i've ever met. i remember sobbing at my 40 week appt because i was so over being pregnant and she just hugged me and then gave stern instructions to dh to take care of me. she was AMAZING during my delivery, even my mil who is a l&d nurse (in a different state) said she has never seen an ob like her. i've gotta figure a way to bribe her to promise me she will deliver my next one.

I like that he is funny in a way that makes me feel less weird about having somebody poking around down there. He also always reminds me to take time for myself. And he has the same name as a famous person and I giggle whenever I think about having appointments to see "Mr. Famous Guy."

I saw my OB for the last time today, since she is leaving the practice for a bigger, better opportunity!

for her.I love that she takes time to listen to my questions and concerns and never overtly judges me for my questions. While I was pregnant, I loved that she was totally open to my birth plan--which probably would have been more suited for a birth with a midwife. I am going to miss her so much!

Mine is always on time and always gets me in and out quickly. I usually schedule my appointments for 8:30am, and I am usually out by 8:45. It's awesome not having to sit around and wait forever just to be seen for 5 minutes.

I haven't seen her since my first appointment with this baby because there are 8 OBs in the practice and they put you on a rotation. BUT, I chose her because I know her personally- her daughter used to be in my preschool class. I went to her for my first appointment during my last pregnancy and there was no heartbeat on the ultrasound (missed m/c). She was extremely supportive and we texted for the weeks following my D&C. She was always there for any questions I had and she was very happy for me when I got my next BFP.

He's both thorough & meticulous but also easy going and has a great sense of humor, which is perfect for DH & I. He also takes his time, answers my often stupid questions & never makes me feel rushed. Love him!

He always takes his time with me, and I almost always get to see him. He's also seen me on very short notice when I was spotting. He is very, very calm, especially when I'm frantic or worrying. He answers all my questions and is legitimately interested in getting to know us-asks about school, work, etc. I'm so lucky to have found him. Love him!
