In getting our house ready for the market, I'm looking into the cost of a maid to do a thorough scrub down of our house for me. What would you pay for a one time cleaning at your house? What's average in your area? This is for a 5 bedroom, 3 bath house. 2600sf.

$100/ visit. 3 people come to clean. We have a 4/2 and s bit over 2600 sq ft.

We pay $90 for three bedrooms 2.5 bath, 2400 sq ft. A lot of people I interviewed charged extra for one time cleanings though. I think we paid $100 for a thorough cleaning of a two bedroom one bath apartment that was 1400 sq. ft.

I pay $100 for 4 hours of cleaning at my home - 2400 sqft (but they only clean about 2/3 of that).
