Folks, what are "white" potatoes?! I see brown, yellow, and red skin potatoes... now I really want mashed potatoes!

full cream milk, lots of butter, garlic, a little salt and white pepper. i also salt the water. yum!

Heavy cream, a ton of butter, and a bit of salt. I pour the cream an butter into the bowl then push my cooked potatoes through a potato ricer and stir it all together. Then add salt to taste No lumpy mash potatoes here. Totally not a "healthy" way to make them but I'm just not that type of cook who does comfort food in a low-cal, low-fat manner.

This post totally inspired me to make mashed potatoes with dinner tonight! They were deeeeelicious. I make mine with butter, a little sour cream, some milk, garlic salt and black pepper.
