I think names ending in -son are trendy, but I've never met a Grayson. I do like it!

Another vote for trendy but handsome. The only think I'd consider if I were you is whether using a name out of your usual taste or style will make it harder to choose subsequent baby names. That of course only matters if you want more kids and care if their names sort of go together. I like the spelling of Grayson or Grey (over Greyson or Gray).

I like it and don't think it is too trendy. It is the name of my 4 year old nephew!

I'm very out of the loop on what names are trendy, but the only Graysons I know are my age (almost 30) and I would guess around 15 (I babysat him when I was in high school). I do prefer Grayson.
