I love Grayson and don't find it too trendy. I only know one Grayson and he's 5 years old

I think it's definitely trendy, but I like it!
I prefer it spelled Greyson.

I know two Graysons from Gymboree (and two Hudsons and two Henrys). One of the boys spells it Greason, which I had never seen before.
My understanding is that Americans spell "gray" with an "a" and the English spell it with an "e," if that affects your spelling preference. I like both spellings.

I don't think it's overly trendy because I can still see it being popular decades from now and I think it has a classic feel to it, too.
While I prefer spelling grey with an "e", for the name, I prefer Grayson.
