I've been asked by my parents what I want for Christmas several times and I can't think of anything. Everything is either too practical (aka I can buy it myself...) or is too expensive (like a new purse!).
What is on your list this year?

I'd probably say a GC to my hair salon, that would cover most of me getting a color/cut/style!
Otherwise, a massage, a new pair of shoes, a couple shirts, or GC to dinner/movie.

we don't usually do christmas gifts, but I'd ask for a giftcard to Nords.

The only think I want is a set of new plates, but unfortunately, Santa doesn't ever give me practical gifts.

I asked for a Sephora or Ulta gift card and a new makeup bag.

I don't get gifts but possibly coloring stuff or GC for clothes which I could always use.

gift cards for clothes. Then I asked for a couple home decor items. I will just buy them if no one gets for me.

A pair of Pandora earrings, a bronzer/blusher pallette, maybe some cute notebooks from KikkiK.

No adult gifts but if we did then a restaurant GC + free babysitting services.

My family asks the same, plus they don't like to give gift cards. I hate it. This year I asked for a toaster. Lol.

we do a $50 secret santa with one side of my family and a $20 secret santa at work. My lists for those are:
* Kamik rain boots
* Big O key ring (would never buy this myself, but that's what gifts are for, right?)
* Yes Please, by Amy Poehler
* mini muffin tin (boring and practical)
* adult coloring book and pencilsNo clue what "big" gift I want from DH or my parents...

A few times I haven't known of what to ask my mom for, I've asked if we can go shopping after Christmas instead. Then she gives me a giftcard and we get to spend a day together looking for something I like/need.

A new dining room chandelier or house related giftcards. I seriously don't want anything right now other than for our new house. If I really want something, it would be a Keurig coffee machine.

A wristlet, a new rainjacket, restaurant gift cards, spa/pedi gift cards, Kindle books. Other ideas I've asked for in the past: makeup palettes or brushes, fun earrings from local vendors or Etsy, more books.

@oliviaoblivia: Ha! I'm getting my parents a Thermapen thermometer this year. I bought one for DH 2 years ago and use it so much, I had to admit, I probably bought it for me.

I asked for the hardcover editions of the Harry Potter books 1-6. I have the hardcover of book 7. Geeky I know.
