@JoJoGirl: Yes! Mostly older relatives who feel sooo sorry for DH because he will have 2 daughters!

How aid everything going? Anything new to report? Are you still trying? Have you gotten over everything? You look like you've gained some weight---hopefully or a good reason!

Uhm, no. I haven't really gotten over losing a daughter I never got to see grow up. Really the nerve of some people. It's none of your business what my husband and I do in our free time. Thanks for letting me know that I look pregnant when I'm not. That totally makes me feel great about TTC. That doesn't stress me out at all! (Sarcasm)

@JoJoGirl: yes. I guess everyone feels like they can ask that since they all knew about pregnancy since we were so far along and stuff, but come on! Have some tact people!

The worst have been the people who didn't hear and now ask me how our baby is and what they are doing, since our LO would be about 4 mths old.

"Enjoy this time, xxx will never be the same once you have the baby" and derivatives like "You'll never sleep in again" or "Sleep while you can!!"

Really? Everything will change after having a baby? We'll have less time for ourselves? The baby will keep us up all night? Gosh, I'm so glad that you, oh wise experienced parent, are here to inform me of that because I had no idea. I will now snap out of my exhaustion, physical discomfort and pain, distraction, and irritability and enjoy every moment because of your wise advice.

I know I sound bitter, but it's really getting old. I even get it from people who don't have kids!

I love people telling me "oh just wait" about everything related to DS, like he's going to turn into a little jerk. Sorry folks, I love him more and more every single day. I think it's cool that he's learning so much so fast. I'm proud of him.

Not pregnant, but I always get "you look so young" to be married, to be teaching high school, to be the age I am...I don't want to hear it again! I know I will be grateful when I am older, but still.

@legallyheidi: Agreed! I was so grateful that a friend was talking about herself the other day when I asked how she was. She finally was like wow, I am so sorry, I just went on and on and I was like NO PLEASE CONTINUE. It was so refreshing to hear about somebody else rather than constantly answering questions about myself!

@Jennimac: OMG. I can't believe anyone would say that!

My current least favorite is some variation of this: "Enjoy all this now because after the babies are born you won't be special anymore." Ummm . . . thanks, I feel like I have so much value now.

Other "favorites" are:
"Twins? You are never going to sleep again."
"Glad it's you and not me."
"It looks like you don't have much longer!"

Oh when are you due? I answer with April and immediately get " **GASP** Are we sure there is only one in there????"
Umm yes I'm almost 6 months I'm aware as to what is happening in there and I've only gained 1 1/2lbs so shut up!!
That's what I'd love to say lol

I'm looking forward to the pregnancy comments because I'm sick, sick sick of "how's married life?". ARGH! It's exactly the same as unmarried life!!!! Give me a few weeks and I'm sure I'll be sick of the pregnancy ones, too!

I constantly got "you're due in August? You're going to be so miserable and hot!"

"you're so BIG! are you SURE you're only ___ weeks?"

@autumnlove: my dad has 4 daughters and now he has 4 granddaughters and he LOVES it! I don't know if we'll ever get a boy in our family, lol, but girls rock, your hubs is lucky!
