in-laws: Grams and Gramps
parents: Nana and my dad is refusing to accept he's going to be a grandparent and wants to be called Uncle Tom.

My dad and stepmom (Georgia halmunee & harabuji - korean for grandma and grandpa). They live in GA.
My Father in Law (Bbang Harabuji) - bbang = bread in korean. He buys LO bread every sunday at church. (MIL passed away)
My mom and stepdad (Chicago Halmunee and Grandpa D). My stepdad is caucasian.

We have a LOT of grandparents. Our kids call our grandparents by the same things we do. Just our parents have different "names."
-My mom is Mimsy
-Her husband is Opa
-My dad is Papa
-His wife is Mimi
-My maternal grandma is Gramma
-Her husband is Papa
-My maternal grandpa is Papa
-His wife is her given first name (by her request)
-My maternal great-grandma is Nana (yes, my kids have a living great-great)
-My paternal grandmother is Grammy
-MIL is MeMe
-FIL is Ojii (short for Ojiisan- Japanese for grandfather)
-His wife is Gabba
-Her mother is Oma
-GMIL is Grandma, sometimes my DH and SIL call her Obaachan
-GFIL is Grandpa

We ended up using the Swedish titles. DH and his family are Swedish and we live here.
Mormor (mother's mother)
Farfar & farmor (for the IL's)
and she used to call my grandma Lola (Filipino for grandma, although technically she was her great-grandma).
