My DD has five grandparents: DH's parents, my dad and stepmum, and my mum (stepdad passed away 2 years ago).

DD is DH's parents' eighth grandchild, so they're already Grandma and Grandpa to all our nieces and nephews, and therefore to DD too. My dad and stepmum wanted to be Nana and Papa.

My mum's been struggling to come up with a name she liked. After trying a few out we finally settled on one this week: Neni (neigh-knee). We're Hungarian and Neni means aunt, and is also the name you use for a close female family friend. So, despite the fact that it doesn't actually mean grandmother, I really like it and love that it comes from our culture.

What does your LO call their grandparents? Did the grandparents come up with their own name?
