Ok, so LMW is starting daycare in a few weeks (ahhhH!!!) so I'm looking to organize her weekly wardrobe. With a boy it was so easy-- I bought Carter's sets from Costco every season. Summer it would be short sleeves/short pants, winter would be long sleeves/long pants. I just bought 5 sets and did laundry once a week. There were other things mixed in here and there, but it was great to have a consistent wardrobe because it was easy for Wagon Sr. to just grab and dress him in the mornings. And when things got ruined with paint or other stains, I could just replace it with another piece.

But with a girl I am at a loss. I just bought 3 piece sets from Costco, and they include a long sleeved onesie, short sleeved onesie, and pants. But these outfits kind of look like pajamas on her since the pants are kind of like leggings. I don't want to go out and buy outfits like tunics + leggings, because I'm afraid one will get ruined and I'll be sad. I'd rather have "disposable" clothes where pieces can be replaced with others easily. And of course I'd prefer Costco's prices ($7.99 for those three piece sets... can't beat that!!!).

Wagon Sr. suggested I look around at the other girls at pickup... haha. But most of them are older (our daycare only takes 15 months and up) and a lot of them are dressed quite nicely, in clothes I'd put the kids in for church. I prefer to just have playclothes.

Should I be getting sweatshirt/sweatpant sets and putting a short sleeved onesie underneath?

Dressing a girl boggles my mind because the variety of choices overwhelms me!!!

Sorry for my cluelessness. And thanks in advance.
