I only go by a "nick name". I never go by my formal full name. In fact, even my email at work has my "nick name". \

This is why for our LO, we didn't give her a formal name, just one name!

Everyone calls me by my real name except for my sister and a couple of friends who call me by a shortened version of it.

My first name is short (Carol) and there's no real diminutive form of it. But my bff and his whole family call me Carol Brady, lol.

My name is Emanuella but everyone calls me "mani" to the point where I'm pretty sure there are a handful of people in my life that don't even know that Mani isn't my full name:)

Growing up, everyone called me by my full name. Now, everyone calls me by my nickname. Though when I introduce myself to people I use my full name. I've found that when I use my nickname leaving messages- esp at work - that people expect a man.

My first name is only 4 letters so I don't have a nickname. My husband is the only person who has a nickname for me. It's weird when I hear say me real name.

No one really calls me Margaret. I've always gone by Meg. Most people don't realize that it's short for Margaret (they assume it's Megan).

My given name is Jill. My parents named me so no one would call me by a nickname - same with my brother. My husband goes by a shortened form of his name.
