These are hilarious!!!!
DH usually asks me b/c the only time he dresses her is if I'm running behind & we're heading to church or something like that. I think he's gotten her ready completely on his own once & has occasionally on his day off... He did okay on his own.
(We don't have sleepers as an option b/c she only has a handful & they're assigned to nighttime wear only!)

@BlueWolverine: I love those dresses for LO. She has three or four and I want to get more.

DH does fine, but I'm not too picky. We don't change her that often since I stay at home. Mostly after a bath or a diaper leak. I'm fine with her wearing sleepers all day or just a onesie.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Awww! That's so cute that he gets her all dolled up to hang out around the house! You should tell him he should put on a suit while they hang out so he can be equally snazzy, haha.

DH actually really likes picking out LO's outfits for the day, and usually does fine....but sometimes he tries for a color theme and so dresses her in "yellow" or "green", except that the multiple shades of yellow or green totally clash with each other. I never say anything, even if sometimes I'm dying a little inside haha
And he always puts tops with buttons on her backwards, so the buttons are in the front, and then leaves them unbuttoned. haha, I don't know why he thinks all buttons should be on the front!

Lol these are too funny.
DD was dressed in a snowman onesie (that was in the retire pile) and 3 month pants (she is 10 months) a few days ago. No socks. Awesome.
As for DS, he always dresses him in too much blue. Like navy pants and a navy shirt.

DH usually does a really good job dressing DS. He knows what goes together and is a pretty stylish guy. He's picked out a few nice outfits for me before as well!
My dad watches DS 2 days/week and is colorblind. If I forget to put out an outfit for him, it's comical to find what he's wearing when I get home!

@BlueWolverine: We have a few of those, love them!
@yoursilverlining: DH puts things on her backwards because he wears polo shirts and thinks that buttons ought to go in the front.

@MaisyMay: lol!! Okay, I see the logic with the buttons but that is too funny!

My husband always picks obscure combinations but I let it be because he dresses himself oddly too sometimes as well. It's just his thing.

@mediagirl: Hilarious!
DH is pretty good at getting our boy dressed. Usually he'll just pull out the same outfit LO wore earlier that week (washed and clean, though).

this is hilarious!!!!!
Last time I met him out somewhere where he had to get her ready she was wearing a onesie with no socks and covered in her carseat with a blanket... ummm... you couldn't put pants on her???

@Lindsay05: Now you know why she "loves Mommy!" Mommy won't make her end up on Joan Rivers's worst dressed list!

This is what happens when DH dresses LO! Don't get me wrong. I love the color grey, but all on LO at once, whoa!!

@kml636: My husband forgets to put LO's pants back on when he changes him all the time. It's kind of funny because we had to have a discussion of when to put pants on LO when he was a newborn. We took the less clothes approach then. Now, LO wears pants all the time.

@HLK208: I just ask him "does it look like a polo? Why would they put the design on the back?" He's started looking for the designs now.

He thinks leggings are the cutest baby item in the world, so he usually just puts a onesie and leggings on her with socks. The onesie and leggings match, the socks never do.

I am literally LOLing at all of these! Hubs will usually keep her in her sleeper or just picks a top and bottom from the top of the stack without looking. And random socks. No bows or headbands, though, because he hates them and always takes them off when I put them on.

@cascademom: your LO is so cute! Yes, once when she wouldn't stop kicking he told me he couldn't put them on her... Okay, whatever!

@MsLipGloss: LOL exactly. Those clothes were so tight she could barely move.

My husband makes a really sweet effort to pull together a cute outfit. He doesn't always know the 'rules' about tights vs pants and good color combinations, but he usually does an awesome job.

I LOVE these!
One time L dressed l in a monkey onesie, a penguin shirt and dog pants. At least he was dressed appropriately for the weather but I was cracking up.

Lol these are hilarious! DH is actually great at dressing both DS and DD! He co-ordinates everything really well. He was so nervous about dressing a girl bit he is great at it!

Where has this thread been all my life? So funny. Thanks. Your DHs are too cute!

this entire thread made me laugh out loud. so so funny. Sadly, Little C is just not a profoundly stylish child, as I don't have the strong desire to get him all snazzy to just get super messy within the hour from drool/a meal/whatever gets him so gross. However, I at least have him MATCH - my husband is the worst - non-matching, totally sloppy, unsnapped/unzipped, or just leaves him in PJs all day long. Thankfully, he rarely is in charge of dressing him, so these occasions are few and far between.

One of the cutest moments ever happened when DH was dressing H in the nursery...I was coming up the stairs and I heard him ask her, " Do we have this on you backwards?" Immediately followed by "Oh well...Still looks good." He had no idea I could hear him and I thought it was so funny that he was having a conversatIon with her about it, in private.
It was definitely on backwards:)
