This is a spinoff of the age spacing question.
My 2 Sister-In-Laws are Irish Twins. They share a birthday. They are exactly 1 year and a few hours apart. I don't know how my MIL did it!
I've heard a few other odd scenarios like twins and adopting within a year.

One of my mom friends adopted two babies 3 months apart. They weren't sure either adoption would go through, so they took both placements. Her kids are practically twins!

8ish months! My friend was born in late December and her sister was a preterm baby that was born in August.

My cousin just adopted three kids (all bio-sibs - a 1year old and 2.5 year old twins) and found out she's 5 mos. pregnant. So within 5-6 months she'll go from no kids to four kids. Not exactly a close age gap but 4 under 3 is tough IMO.

I'm a twin so my sister and I are 3min apart (born vaginally). Twins boys who grew up down the street were c-section and are 30sec apart.
Our neighbors across the street have a daughter turning 1 in November and are due with #2 also in November (not sure of the actual dates though).

I have a friend who is 10 months younger than her sister, AND she's a twin. So the mom had three baby girls under a year.

My triplet friends (one of them is my best friend) has an older sister that's just 13 months older!!!
Can you imagine FOUR kids just 13 months apart?!!?! As a mom now, I have so much more respect for their mom!!! How she did it, I'll never know!

I know a lady that had a baby and got pregnant with twins like right after (i think they are like 10 months apart!) I can't imagine having 3 kids in one year :o

I have friends that are 10 months apart. They were in the same grade at school, and people always thought they were fraternal twins. I have another friend who had her son and daughter 11 months apart.

My good friend from high school has two boys less than 1 year apart, I think 11 months 2 weeks! My cousin has boys who are 13 months apart.

my good friend got pregnant a little quicker than she thought and is now pregnant with identical twin boys who are due at the end of November - and her son is turning 1 early October!!!
3 boys under 13/14 months! it was quite a shock! she is psyched though.

The hubs is 13 months older than his sister. They actually ended up in the same grade after a clerical error put her straight from pre-K to 1st grade.

My cousins are just under 11 months apart. There were three of them because the younger two were twins.
Also my best friend in HS is 13.5 months younger than her sister.
I can't even imagine!

@Thehistoryofus: oceanis had that happen where they were adopting and unexpectedly got pregnant, I think twins?! She has four kids under 4 I think?!
One mom at my church wanted kids really close so she had them 10 months apart. Crazy
My mom had my brother and sister 12 months apartand also had custody of my cousin so she had 3 under 2!!

I just saw this post and @Coco Bee: had it right. My oldest son is 8 months older than my twins. Then my daughter is 2 years and three months younger than my twins. For a few weeks I had four kids under three but then my oldest had his birthday and turned three.

My sister is 1 minute younger than me and Hubs is two minutes younger than his sister. I can't think of much closer than that.

I'm 13 months younger than my sister - clearly I was unplanned! My mom apparently cried when she found out and asked the doctor how this happened, the doctor said "if you don't know by now, i'm not going to tell you!"
After she had me, she figured they may as well just go ahead and have their third not long after so we could all be close in age. My brother was born less than two years later so three kids in less than three years. She was an older mom though so she always knew we'd be somewhat close together...just not quite that close!

my sister is 15 months younger than me... thats closer than any of my friends or other family!
I worked with a lady who's best friend had many miscarriages, so her and her husband used a surrogate (their egg/sperm) but then got pregnant and didn't miscarry! I think their babes are 5 months apart.. 1 boy 1 girl! One birthed by them, the other by their surrogate!

My brother and I are 12 months and 1 week apart. I turned 1 on May 31 and my brother was born 7 days later on the 8th. My mom ended up having 4 kids in 5 years.
My kids aren't that close, they are 15.5 months apart.
