I flew internationally at 7 months pregnant for our babymoon.

I've never flown pregnant actually! And I have two kids. But I haven't been on a plane in 5 years. DH has never flown. I would definitely be willing to fly at 6-7 months pregnant as long as the pregnancy was healthy.

I refused to fly after my second trip at 17 weeks (got super airsick while pregnant and flying!) but we traveled 5 hours away by car when I was 36 weeks for our babymoon.

Why don't you just plan it and let her wait to book her flight when she's comfortable going? Most hotel reservations are refundable.

There is the possibility of traveling when pregnant, and then there is the question of enjoying yourself. I would personally try to avoid spending hard-won vacation time and money during a first or third trimester.

I have babies early so I don't think I'm allowed to travel anywhere past 34 weeks.

I made a short 1 hour flight at 35 weeks pregnant. I also did a cross country all day flight with multiple connections at 33 weeks pregnant. It was AWFUL. I should have worn compression stockings because the flights caused my legs to swell horribly, and I was shocked by the amount of people who never gave their seat up to me in a crowded airport or didn't even help get my luggage down from the overhead. I was absolutely huge too!

My ob didn't want my flying anywhere after 32 weeks pregnant, and I would've been miserable because I was really big by that time, couldn't bend over or lift anything, had to pee all the time, not sleeping well, etc. I flew at 26-27 weeks and I think 30 would be my personal limit.

That being said, it sounds like at most she'd be 6-7 months pregnant, which is within that timeframe. So I think she should be willing to plan the trip.

I flew last at 30 weeks with no problem.

I flew at 35 weeks last time and will fly at 36 weeks this time. I think traveling at 6-7 months as long as it's a low risk pregnancy is no big deal. And it's really hard to plan a vacation around a yet-to-be pregnancy because so many things could happen. You can't put your life on hold (or expect others to) when you start TTC. I would be annoyed as well.

32 weeks internationally.

I traveled 3 hours away at 37 weeks. Baby was late so it ended up being no big deal.

I flew domestically at 32 weeks and felt good. There's so many variables with TTC and pregnancy she really can't plan around the potential conflicts, so I agree with others that starting to plan and having contingency to get out with no/minimal financial impact to her is the best option.

I flew at 30 weeks with my first and it was very tiring but fine. Doing a calm beach vacation would have been great. The midwife said I could fly as late as the airlines would allow or up to 36 weeks.

With my second I would have been pretty uncomfortable by that point. From a health perspective it would have been fine but I was just so sore and achy already.

That said I wouldn't put off a whole family vacation on the chance of getting pregnant.
