I seem to be noticing this a lot lately...people stopping at red lights waaaayyyyy back from the car in front of them. Like several car lengths. And I'm not tailgating them, but it comes as a surprise to me, plus it annoys me because it''s a total waste of space.

Also related, I've noticed that people are parking with their car only halfway/a third into the space so that their car actually sticks all the way out and you have to drive around. Is there a reason for this?
