Hellobee Boards

Having the patience to calmly explain why she can't do things instead of just telling her "no". She has figured out how to get the outlet protectors out and will try to stick stuff in them. She also will push a chair up to the stove and turn it on. I haven't been able to find a way to get her to understand why she can't do those things.

Reasoning with a toddler during whine fests! My baby is very easy but I still worry about feedings...are they long enough, is she hungry?

Dealing with hitting and tantrums when I take things away. She laughs when I tell her not to hit the dog and when I tell her not to hit the dog with things. It's hard, SO HARD, not to laugh with her.

The sudden surge in back talk. I don't even know where this all came from, but it is so grating!

Whining. I HATE whining.

@BabyBoecksMom: Exactly...and what is the worst about it is that it's not a brief couple month phase - it could last for YEARS. And then eventually there will be more babies which equals MORE (eventual) WHINING.
