What is your daughter wearing for Easter?

I had no plans on buying M a "Easter" dress but MIL is hell bent on buying one for her. Since she can't get out shopping now she's asked that I pick one out and she'll pay for it.

I know she's envisioning a "typical pastel" Easter dress. But that's not really my style or M's! She would be very uncomfortable in a frilly traditional Easter dress. I would much rather get her a springy dress she can rewear the rest of the season into summer.

What's your daughter wearing for Easter? Got any suggestions for me?

I have a cute blouse I bought a while back from baby gap with bunnies on it. It's Easter-y but comfy and she can wear it a lot.

I like your idea of a springtime dress.

M has a springy white sundress with an extra layer of cotton underneath that billows the skirt out just a little bit. It has very soft colored lillies on it. I love it and think she can definitely wear it again, maybe to birthday parties!

We don't do church, but LO is having her picture taken with the Easter Bunny, and we have several one year birthday parties to attend in the next few weeks.

I'll have to take a picture at home, but I have 2-3 different options, right now I'm leading toward a yellow/green/white floral tunic with yellow leggings. Otherwise it's a purple and white polka dot drss with a lime green bow.

I don't know if my LOs will be here in time for Easter, but when I went to the hospital with pre term labor I ordered these PJs for them just in case.

If my DD was older, I'd be all over this Gymboree striped dress though! I sort of want to order it for next year after Easter when it goes on sale, but who knows what size she'll be in a year!

I bought two dresses with both Easter and her 2nd birthday party (in July) in mind. I don't have pics but one is a blue striped seersucker sailor dress by Strasburg (ebay $10 woot woot!) and the other is a dress and long sleeved coat combo I got from zulily. It's pink gingham and has white bows on the front of the dress and on the back of the coat.

DD is all about florals and pastels .. she'll probably wear this dress that is already in her closet. RL floral seersucker.

We bought two dresses. One is hot pink, from Carter's, and the other is a pale pink with smocking that my mom is doing. I'm pretty sure she will wear the pale pink one.

Her grandma and poppa sent this dress for Easter. It has a turquoise and white striped petticoat as well - so cute. I'm hosting an Easter brunch just so she can wear it as we don't attend church.

@cookie_dough: It was from Baby Gap, but I don't think they have it anymore We bought the same one for DD in December.

@rattles: oh boooo My DD would go crazy over the sheep. Actually, it's probably better that they don't have it anymore, since she would never want to take it off once I put it on her!

DD is wearing this dress that a friend sent last year for her birthday! I am so glad that it still fits. It screams Easter to me!
