Mine is a tie between my grandma's mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, and my sister's from-scratch cranberry sauce. Nom!

Pie! All kinds! Pecan, pumpkin, apple... I always make 2 or 3 from scratch.

Homemade mashed potatoes (the lumpy kind, not whipped with a mixer) covered in turkey gravy. And I make sure to pour lots of gravy on so that I can come through with the hot bun squeegee at the end to clean the plate.

@chopsuey: would you be willing to share?!?! Stuffing is my favorite but I haven't been able to find a recipe I love

My dad's cornbread sage sausage stuffing with my mom's turkey giblets gravy drizzled on top.

Mashed potatoes and gravy. Fresh rolls with lots of butter. Fresh cranberries. Stuffing. All of it!

Yams with marshmallows! I also really like the cranberry sauce that comes in a can...I know, I'm weird.

My mom's cornbread and ham stuffing. Also, what I like to call, "my gobble sammies". Been "making" them since I was knee high to a grasshopper - turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and stuffing all piled high on a homemade dinner roll. I usually make a ring of them around my plate, with a moutain of green beans in the middle. Thank you, sir!

My mom's homemade southern recipe cornbread stuffing drowned in gravy. With gravy on the side. mmm gravy

Stuffing and sweet potato casserole!!! I loooove the sweet potato recipe I've been using lately. And now I'm craving it. Is it frowned upon to just make sweet potato casserole for no reason in October? lol

Mashed potatoes, turkey, gravy, yams, stuffing, pies...I pretty much love it all.
Except I'm one of those weirdos who dislikes pumpkin pie...which is odd since I love pumpkin anything else.

Ahh, I don't think I can pick one dish!
Turkey with cranberry sauce. Or the candied yams. Or the green bean casserole.

I'm a total weirdo and am so not into turkey dinner. The only thing I REALLY like is the actual turkey, and I will eat a roll and some veggies.
I don't think they mind too much though. I usually do clean up while they sit around and moan about how full they are.

Homemade mashed potatoes! I love them with just small lumps still in them. Soooo good.

Greek stuffing ( my family makes my Grammies recipe) it isn't like regular bread stuffing- it's mostly meat- but so delish!!!! I like to mix it with mashed potatoes and regular stuffing with lots of gravy!!

Pie! Apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies are a must for me on Thanksgiving. I'm not ashamed...I eat a slice of each.

@cheert16: Greek stuffing!?!? Um, what is in that??

@Sapphiresun: I agree! I am really not a fan of the food we eat at Thanksgiving, aside from the turkey and veggies. I can't have dairy. so most things like mashed potatoes, dessert, and stuffing I can't eat. I also hate being overly full so I tend to just eat the normal amount I would have for lunch.

Thanksgiving is my least favorite meal (I just can't eat turkey) but I adore the cheap cranberry sauce in the can, the one that comes out in one piece with the impressions from the can on it.

@sandy: I don't have a recipe since I just throw stuff together when I cook, but I can share all the ingredients that go into my stuffing! Will wall you!

Stuffing and mashed potatoes. And pineapple bread casserole (http://www.justapinch.com/recipes/dessert/pudding/pineapple-bread-casserole.html)
Ahhhhhhh, I love holiday food!!

@VanillaBean: do you make it yourself or order it from a shop? If you order, do you have a place you recommend?

I'm kinda "meh" about thanksgiving food, too. What i LOVE is leftover turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce (yes, the canned gelatin kind!). Deep fried turkey is the way to go.
I'm always underwhelmed by who hosts it. Nothing is 100% from scratch. Box stuffing? No thanks. Canned green bean casserole? Yuck. Thawed rolls? Gross. Store bought pies, too. Someone usually makes a tasty salad, though. How sad is that?! LOL.
i might bring au gratin potatoes this year. Or a corn pudding.
@mslipgloss, I make deviled eggs with baconnaise. o.m.g. SO GOOD!

My moms turkey and stuffing, vegetable casserole, my moms home made rolls...I can't pick just one!
