What is your LO's middle name? Is there significance to it?

Katherine. It's in honor of my mom, Kathleen. She doesn't really love her name and goes by a nickname so we chose to use a different version of the same name.

Mae. It is my Great Grandmothers name (she lived to be 99 and I remember wheelchair rides and eating popcorn at her nursing home), my Grandmothers MN and Aunts MN. All on my Dads side. No one in my generation has it, it would have been nice with my sisters name. It was DHs idea. Love it.

Charles is my MIL's maiden name, and Eleanor is for Eleanor Roosevelt.

Joseph cole(hubbys name is joseph), and cole is a nod to my mom in a way.
Ds middle name is levi. We just loved the name.

Warren James- for DH's dad who passed away, and James just because we liked it (and its DH's favourite book of the Bible). -
Charlotte. In honor of my maternal grandfather, Charles.

Mae- my MN, my mom and grandmother, and my MIL all are forms of Mary so I wanted some version of Mary. And my grandmother, who turned 90 a couple days after she was born, goes by Mae with her friends.
Amelia- we liked it when DH suggested it in the car on the way to the hospital.

Elizabeth and Victoria, though it sounds like we have a Queen of England obsession, they're both in honor of family: Elizabeth is to honor a Betty on my side and a Betty on DH's side, Victoria is my mom's name.

Grace - no significance, we just thought it sounded nice with DD's first name.

Dean and Michael. Dean is my dad's middle name and Michael is my FIL's first name.
If we have a girl, the middle name will likely be Katherine/Kate after my sister.

Rita Isla - after my 2 grandmothers.

Lin and Rees, my mom's maiden name and my MIL's maiden name! I love how they are both one syllable!

My last name. It will be the same for any future LOs we may decide to have.

Olivia. It reminds us of the olive trees from our honeymoon. DH especially likes the name.

Louise. Lou is a family nickname of mine, and a family nickname of my mom's, so it was a tie to both of us. It also sounds great with her first name and adds additional nicknames for her as well. We didn't pick it until after she was born, but once we talked about it, we knew it was the right choice. I love it.

They both share the same middle name, which is my maiden name. My sisters and I also share the same middle name (except the youngest). Supposed to identify you as being part of a set within a generation.

We wanted it to be a saint's name, and St. Agnes is the patron saint of little girls. Plus, we love the name, and it goes really well with her first name. It's perfect for her!

Catherine (after both my mother and my MIL - we are lucky they have the same first name!
and Maeve (my all time favourite name, DH isn't a fan even though I've tried to years to get him to come around ... we had another MN picked out but right after I gave birth to dd2 he surprised me by saying we could use Maeve

Lorelei and Lily. No significance to Lorelei besides that we liked it. Lily is after my aunt who passed away from cancer a couple years ago. Her name was Susan, which means "lily" in Hebrew.

Clarke which was my great aunt and uncle's surname. They were very special to DH and I. I love that DS has this connection to them since they were never able to have children of their own.

Typical middle names, Lynn and Grace. No significance, DH is just really picky about names so we went a more regular, run of the mill route.
