Silver eye shadow, not curling my eyelashes, copper colored lipstick, glitter lotion/gel, and way overplucked eyebrows. Oh, late '90s.

In middle school, I wore baby blue glitter eye shadow, which looked great on my blond haired, blue-eyed friend, but not so great on my olive skin. I also thought it was awesome to have glitter eyebrows. In high school, I can't believe my mom let me go out the house with red lips, lavender eye shadow, and heavy mascara. I asked her about it, and her response was "Well, you wouldn't have listened to me anyway."

*hangs head in shame*

@cascademom: Yep! And every single one of us wore those stretchy black pants when we went out.

I am probably still doing something wrong. Good thing less is more I did rock some pretty horrible shades of eyeshadows. I'm sure I probably seen someone else rock it and thought I could too.

@Pink Champagne: Gah! You just described my college days perfectly (except for the butterfly clips - never had those). I cringe thinking of my black pants, backless tops, and pleather coat days. I think that was my standard going out outfit, whilst covered in glitter of course. And yes, I was a sorority girl. Oh the shame of the late 90s/early 2000s!
