@Adira: whoo hoo! AF has returned for me but we can't DTD due to scar tissue/pain. TMI!

Glad I am no longer pregnant, even though pregnancy suited me. My skin started to break out quite badly towards the end (still dealing with it at4 months pp).

@cmomma17: So we should switch - you give me AF since I CAN DTD and you take an AF-free break.

I get nostalgic, but I'm glad I'm enjoying my daughter out here, in the world. I loved being pregnant, and can't wait until we're ready for # 2. However, I would ideally never experience the first trimester, again.

I loved my pregnant body but didn't enjoy pregnancy at all, so it's a mix of nostalgia and relief. And my bump never felt as big as it looked in some of the photos!

I just think :holy crap I was huuuge! And then remember how uncomfortable it was and be thankful I'm not pregnant right now For reference, here was me 2 days before dd was born!

I get nostalgic but I want my real body back before I get pregnant again!

I miss my bump! I also miss baby kicks, maternity pants, and not sucking in my stomach.

I miss not having to suck my belly in! LOL! And how much nicer people were to me when I was pregnant. But we're done.

I mostly miss it! I also really miss having a "shelf" to rest my plate on when snacking on the couch. That was pretty awesome!

It seems surreal - like I can't remember what it was like to have the belly! I do miss having LO inside of me and feeling so protected inside. I really grew in the last month, so seeing those pictures I can't believe and remember being that big!

I loved being pregnant last time - I loved the kicks and the special bonding time I had with my growing baby. Looking back at pics made me sad it was all over too soon.
Now, 7 months into this pregnancy, I can't wait for it to be over. I'm so over it and it will definitely be a good couple of years before I do this again! Maybe by then I'll be back to the wistful/nostalgic stage!

It makes me miss being pregnant. Even though hopefully that's not going to happen again for awhile! I loved being pregnant!

I thought I looked great... Until the end, when my face blew up. This time.... I'm not liking how I look at all.
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts
I think how horrible I looked! I blew up like a balloon when I was pregnant, and I don't miss looking like that at all!! And I don't miss being pregnant lol!

I miss my pregnant belly so much! Of course there were downsides, but I have never felt more confident in my whole life! Definitely NOT ready for another LO yet, but miss that feeling.

I only have a few but I don't really miss it. It was a long time before I started getting back to clothes I like etc and I could do without the pregnancy part...

I did not really enjoy pregnancy, but looking at pictures still makes me feel nostalgic! I do miss having a huge meal and being excited that my stomach looked bigger, instead of having to suck it back in in shame

@MamaMoose: Same here! I can't believe I'm TTC again already, because my pregnancy was hell. Everyone told me I'd miss being pregnant, just wait and see. Hahahahahaha. I do not miss it one bit, when I look at pictures I just think, "Thank god that's over. Net time has to be better, right?"

@Ash: I miss mine too- we didn't take very many pictures because I felt SO BIG but I miss feeling her move! Seeing how wiggly she is "on the outside" sheds some light on the crazy jumping belly I used to have LOL

I looked like a balloon with all the water retention, but I still miss it when I see it. I'm far enough away to have forgotten all the bad things and just remember what all the bonding felt like and how exciting it was for the baby to move.
I hope to be back with a bump before the end of 2014!

@Pepper: I have an almost 2 yr old and I still wear one pair of maternity pants!! they were small panel dressy pants and are so comfy. I'd be embarrassed if anyone saw the panel but it sits up high without a real belly so I think I'm safe
actually . . . now that I think about it I also still wear my ON maternity yoga pants to sleep in. enough stretch that they fit at every stage and still fit now! (I'm at my pre-preg weight so don't guilt myself about loving them)

I look at the early days (weeks 12-20) when I thought I had this big old bump and it was barley there...and I laugh at myself about how much bigger it was going to get when I couldn't imagine it getting any bigger.

I can't believe my babies used to be in there! And thank God I never have to be pregnant again!

I seriously wonder how I can get that big again!
@BabyBoecksMom: @autumnlove: I dunno, the second time around isn't nearly as much fun as the first. I missed it so much, but this time the kicks are harder and uncomfortable, and I feel way bigger. I'm trying to be grateful, but am mostly just cranky.
Both pregnancies are fairly similar, but I remember the bad stuff much easier- sick to 22 weeks... check, killer heartburn.... check, now I'm just waiting for high bp and carpal tunnel to kick in... I'm also super duper over it and want to meet him already, I'm nesting unlike last time, I have an urgency to get things done asap since I now know what having a newborn means

Honestly, disgust. I hated being pregnant (even though I know it was the biggest blessing), but I didn't like any part of it...and I thought I looked disgusting.
