@lemondrop: It's awesome in that he gets to work outside a lot and work with animals, but it sucks in the summer when he's gone for weeks at a time. He doesn't get a lot of days off during bat season, and it's especially grating this summer since I'm pregnant and he would rather be here.

He's an engineer working at a nuclear power plant. He's been promoted a few times though so he isn't *technically* an engineer though... I don't even know his title. So long.

His job title is Sr Credit Analyst but he does everything from underwriting loans to calling people who aren't paying their mortgages.

But not many can mention bat season in relation to their work

@lemondrop: Yes, when I tell people he works with bats, they automatically think he works for our baseball team (the Louisville Bats) and get really confused when I start talking about white nose, nets, and rabies shots.

My DH was a high school teacher, but he will soon be a sheriff. God willing, he will graduate from the academy in August.
