Mine's an IT nerd too. -
He is a lead merchandiser for a large commercial plant nursery. Basically, he travels to all the stores his nursery sells to in our region and makes sure everything is arranged, displayed, priced, etc. properly.

He is a cop but is going to be retired due to on the job injuries sometime next year. He will be going back to school to be a nurse once the retirement goes through.
