I have a 2009 Mini-Cooper. LOVE my car. Sadly, I will most likely be selling it next year and getting something else Obv not suitable for kids (I have the 2-door), and also long term I want AWD too, but I can't swing for their 4-dr AWD model!

DH drives our Honda CRV.

2001 Subaru forester. It's worked perfectly for me. It works well for kids, but I imagine it will get tight as we have more kids/as kids get older. I had it when I was nannying for a family with 3 kids and was always amazed that 3 car seats could fit!

Hyundai Sonata, Love it!

I have a 2009 Mercedes Benz (S550), but about to trade in for a Tesla. I love my benz because it's so dang roomy, even in the back. We got it used for a killer deal and it barely had any miles on it! I'm sad to see it go!

DH has a Toyota Sequoia. It's a behemoth of an SUV, but we absolutely love it. It's carrying capacity for cargo is impressive, and super roomy even though it's a 3 row SUV. It's definitely a car we'll have till dies (hopefully never!).

Both fit car seats comfortably even with passengers.

My DH and I share a car, a Mazda 5 mini minivan. We really like it! I am looking forward to getting it back at some point since it started out as my car.... hopefully by the end of the year we'll get one of my in laws cars (Taurus or jeep Cherokee).

We have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. We love it. Everyone that rides in it says that it is surprisingly roomy for a compact sedan.

We don't have kids yet so we have never had a car seat in the back of it, but we will probably still have it when we do have kids. We made sure when we were researching cars that we would be able to fit 2 car seats in the back. We will most likely also have a bigger car that will be our main family car.

DH drives a 2002 Subaru Outback Sport that we are hoping lasts until we pay off the Elantra. It is a good car, but it is showing its age.

We have a Chevy Impala and a Toyota RAV4. RAV4 is great for 1 child, but anymore would be a real squeeze

@yoursilverlining: same here, we have a 2010 Lexus RX 350. We had an older Acura TL before that was fine, but the transmission died and having the mid size SUV is so much easier. And then we got 108 inches of snow and I was so glad we had already moved up to the SUV!! It fits our convertible car seat comfortably. Once we have the second car seat back there we won't really be able to have extra passengers though. We once had two Chicco nextfits RF back there and my petite but pregnant friend squeezed in between them- it was very tight. Trunk space is great and it's not bad to parallel park at all.

05 Honda CRV. Its totally kid appropriate.

However, since we've decided were one and done, my next car won't be. Lol. I told DH that im getting something little and fast.

We have a 2013 Toyota Venza and a 2014 Nissan Leaf. They're great, we love both of them.

4 door Volkswagen GTI. It's ok with a infant carrier. We bought a giant Yakima roof rack before our first big trip with baby. As my husband says "it's cheaper than a new car". Delaying the inevitable, I think, considering we take several week-long car trips every year to see far-off family. We love that car. It will be a sad day if we every have to get rid of it.

2012 Honda Civic and 2015 Toyota Sienna

I have an 09 Accord right now. Next month we are going to get an Acura MDX. Then DH will drive my Accord. His Infiniti is old.

I have an '08 ford fusion, not the luxury model lol! It is nice, I don't mind it at all. His carseat fits in the back just fine. I paid it off last year and it's so nice not having a car payment.

I have a toyota sienna. Just got it a month or so ago. It was an adjustment going from my car, but I'm happy with the switch. So much room for the 2 carseats, tons of room for my 100 pound dog. When we (hopefully) have #3 soon, there will still be lots of room.
Dh has a truck. I really really really wish he would have traded in his truck for the van and then kept my car. Seems silly to have 2 big vehicles, especially when my mazda was sooo good on gas with the skyactive engine!

2013 Subaru Outback. It's perfect for our family, and I love that someone can sit in the back between two car seats. I miss our Impreza, but not the neck/back pain it caused when getting the kids in and out.

I have a Volvo XC70 wagon. I love it, especially the huge trunk. We only have one LO so far but the backseat is pretty roomy and I love that it's a tank!

@erinbaderin: what convertible seat do you have? I have a few months left with the infant seat but trying to do my research. We have a vw gti 4 door

I have a '13 Subaru Outback and OH has an '08 (I think) BMW X3. Both are great for car seats, unless one of you is 6'4" in which case it's hard to fit two RF seats in anything! I read there is something with the current X3's that make it so they won't really fit anyone comfortably with a RF seat.
