I'm leaning towards pizza!

I ate pizza at a first birthday party and loved it
I served brunch. Bagels with lox and cream cheese, lunch meat and cheese for those that wanted to make sandwiches, quiche, different kids of salads, a yogurt bar with different toppings, etc.

1st birthday we held at a local chinese buffet place. 2nd birthday we had a baseball themed party and served hot dogs for the kids, beer brats for the adults. 3rd birthday was at one of those indoor playground birthday factories and we had pizza. Honestly-- whatever's easy!! I think cake is the most important part... haha!

@autumnlove: Yes I love lox! But at the party that had pizza I was pretty jealous of how easy the setup was. I did sooooo much prep and cooking for LO's party. She just had some snacks (fruit, crackers, cheese, etc) and then the pizza.

We did sloppy joes and potato/macaroni salad with chips

For DD's first birthday, I've been dreaming about making paella. Only thing is I've never made it before! Ha! But whatever it is I end up making, it'll be a one pot dinner meal. I wanna take advantage of our long days during the summer (when her birthday is).
