DH just put together our nursery furniture! Yay!
Before I put away DS's clothes, I want to wash them. I was about to throw them in the wash last night and then I realized that maybe I shouldn't be washing them with our normal Tide detergent. So what should I purchase? Dreft? Tide Free & Clear?
Also, can you use fabric softener with infants? DH couldn't live without fabric softener. So do you just wash your clothes and LO's clothes separately?

DONT use fabric softener on the baby's clothes. If you want them a bit softer, use white vinegar instead of fabric softener. Not only is it pure chemical and frangrance (most of them,) they make clothes extremely flammable because of the residue left behind.
We use dreft or an all-natural scent free setergent (like Method or Seventh Generation,) but anything non-scented will do.
ETA-we wash ours separately. Well, my clothes and Livs clothes get washed together bc I cant use softener. DH's get washed separately with softener

We use 7th Generation for our clothes and DD's clothes. For DD's diapers we use Rockin' Green.

We use all free and clear for ours and LOs clothes. We wash hers seperate because we don't use fabric softener on hers.

We use Dreft....i LOVE the smell of it. we have all free & clear for our clothes though and occasionally use it for LO.

I mainly use Charlie's soap and sometimes Seventh Generation. I do not use any fabric softeners.

We use Planet Ultra for clothes and Charlie's Soap for his cloth diapers. I use wool dryer balls instead of fabric softener or dryer sheets.

All or Method free and clear and apparently I'm a terrible mom because I use free+clear softener sheets. Whoops.

Usuall All F&C for clothes and Country Save for diapers. I ran out of the All, so I'm going to see how the Country Save does for our clothes. Oh, and we've never used softener, but we do use wool dryer balls.

we were using method free and clear, but i just ordered some soap nuts! all natural berries that clean your clothes with no soap. excited to try them!

I started to using Dreft but after 3 months I started throwing in LO's clothes in with ours (Tide Clean and Free)
