@banana: It's amazing. It's funny and heart warming and heart breaking all at once!

Has anyone mentioned The Notebook?
Also, Steel Magnolias and Love Actually.
I really need to see The Bridges of Madison County.

@PurplePeony: "Just in cases" . . . perfection!
@JessKas: Yep - I see you already mentioned The Notebook! *blush*

@Rubies: Can you believe I've never seen "Beaches"?!?
My 'cry-every-time' movie is "The Family Stone" ... such a beautiful, touching movie. I ugly cry.

@runsyellowlites: @MrsBells: Gladiator has one of the BEST movie lines of ALL TIME:
"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."

@Littlebit: Yes, PS I Love You is my biggest cry movie!
I generally find a moment to cry in every movie though...
@banana: I've never seen Beaches or Steel Magnolia either - I guess I have to add those to my list!
My other cry-movies are Sweet November, Autumn in New York, and the end of August Rush (where I got DD's name from!)

I ugly cried at Ps I love you in the movie theater. I watched the Last Song the other day and I bawled like a baby while I was folding laundry at the end.
Not a movie but I had to excuse myself to the bedroom after watching the episode of full house where they watch the home video of their mom. It took me about 10 minutes to pull myself together!
Other than that I cry at every movie. Even happy ones.

Lately or ever? Ever would be a 2 page post.
Basically, anything that a kid or parent has issues (stepmom, last song, etc) anything that an animal gets hurt or killed (ugly cried in I am legend when will smith had to kill his dog). Nicholas sparks, yeah he makes me sad face. Terms of endearment. The evening star.

Looks like I need to watch Steel Magnolias and Beaches.
My go-to cry-fest movies are:
The Blindside
My Girl
Grand Torino
Forrest Gump (the "his name is Forrest" part, and the letter to Jenny)
American History X (not a chick-flick cry, if that's what you're looking for)

@Rubies: Up! had me crying in the first 10 minutes. I think that was a record! The first movie I thought of that makes me cry like a baby is "Reign Over Me".... probably an unconventional choice but I love that movie and soundtrack!

Beaches- I sang Wings Beneath my Wings at my grandsm's funeral- it was her request
Steel Magnolias- uh, Sally Field gets me every time
Benjamin Button- IDK, but I sobbed
Terms of Endearment- the lady left behind her mom and kids, so sad
...I'm sure there's more. Going to scour the post and add more.

I can't believe no one has said this movie yet!
Hachi: a dogs tale

I cry for a lot of things, even commercials. But for movies that make me cry *the most* my list is a bit different than everyone else's:
- Iron Giant. I cry whenever I even *think* about the end of the movie. I cried once just trying to explain it to someone.
- Life Is Beautiful/La Vita e Bella - I can't watch this film ever again. Just thinking about it makes me sob.
- Field of Dreams. I'll at least still watch this one

@Ellie: Oh yes, I second Life is Beautiful. I can't watch it again either!

I totally bawled at animal/pet movies on the past: Eight Below and Homeward Bound
And I totally cried at I am Sam.
And about a million other movies.

Marley and Me made me so upset in the theater I had a hard time driving home through my tears, and i refused to ever watch it again. Seriously, thinking about that movie pretty much ruins my day even.
