For me, it is feeding LO. Haaaaate. She's 15 mo and just so annoying about it lol. Even when she eats okay, there is a lot of food throwing and pushing and smearing and whining and it's just the least pleasant parts of my day, feeding her breakfast, lunch and dinner!
What's your least favorite parenting job?
Side note: At what point did your kid stop throwing food on the floor (on purpose)? She can eat or not eat, or even be messy, but the purposefully throwing food drives. me. effing. nuts.

Currently naptime/bedtime. They are major battles. And bedtime totakly drains me at the end of the day.

diaper changes... LO is a nightmare. Rolling, flipping, whining, grabbing.... JUST LAY THERE AND IT WILL BE OVER FASTER!

@hilsy85: yeah bedtime is just no fun these days. She wants to sleep in the big bed but can't stay in it and I think deep down still wants the crib, so it's like a very draining game every night.
I hate cleaning up after every meal the most. It's just so tiring. And baths are getting hard but that's just because I'm pregnant and my back hurts leaning over the tub- she is actually quite adorable in the tub.
@Mae: I don't remember when it stopped but it was well before two. Now if she doesn't want to eat more she picks up her plate and fork and hands it to me- it's kind of adorable and hilarious, even when I'm frustrated because she took like three bites. But she went through a phase where every meal took all my patience.

Making lunches
I REALLY hope DS wants to buy lunch a few days a week now that he is in 1st grade!

This might sound harsh, but we trained away the food throwing sometime around 15-18 months. Baby would throw food once, we would say, "no throw," baby would throw food twice, we would take the food away silently and completely ignore baby for a minute. Then we would give the food back with a cheerful "food stays ON the tray" We would repeat the cycle three times or so before removing LO from the highchair and saying,"if you throw your food you must not be hungry." Then that was it until the next meal or snack a few hours later. By then LO was nice and hungry and more interested in eating than throwing. It was a fast process. Less than a week.
I hate the laundry. Endless, endless laundry.

@psw27: lol seriously. My LO is not great for diaper changes either but at least they are over fast. 
@illumina: I can't even feed her on a plate because she'll throw it. I have to give her like, 2 pieces of food at a time. If I give her more than that, she throws it. And not because she is not hungry! If I feed her 1-2 pieces at a time she eats a decent amount. But every time I try to put more food on her tray she immediately throws it, starts sliding her hands back and forth to fling food off the sides of her tray, or pushing it over the front. But then when it is on the floor she hangs over the side and cries/reaches for it. If I let her down she is happy to eat off the floor. but I am not happy to just let her eat her entire meal off the floor like a dog. So I sit there and feed her piece by piece by piece and its just really annoying.

@psw27: Yes. I haaaate diaper changes right now. I actually hope he gets mad right away and starts to scream/cry because he actually lays still and it's over quicker. Otherwise he just whines and squirms and twists and it takes FOREVER and usually ends up with scream/crying anyway.

@Mae: sorry but I'm LOL at her eating off the floor like a dog! Yeah we had a long time that I couldn't use a plate for that reason. What about an EZ PZ mat? Supposedly they stick to the table or tray really well and prevent the whole thing from getting tossed. It wouldn't fit on my high chair tray so I never tried it.

@MrsSRS: I may try that soon. LO is on the later side for communication (she just turned 15 mo and has no words beyond mama/dada, and cannot/will not sign "eat" or "all done" even though I've been trying for 3 mo to teach her those). So we have been hesitant to give real consequences because I don't think she really understands that much. But she is getting better so maybe soon we will do that.

I hate getting him dressed in the morning. He's so happy when he wakes up - he wants to sit in my lap, play with his toys, read a story, etc. But when I tell him it's time to change his diaper and get dressed he get upset. This morning he flopped down on his bed and deigned to let me take off his diaper, and as soon as I did he rolled over and tried to get away. I was afraid he was going to pee all over before I could get diaper on him.
Every morning it's a fight and I wish I could just take him to daycare in pj's and a really full diaper.

@Foodnerd81: I think she would just pick food up and throw it off of that. But anyways, it wouldn't work for us because it won't fit on the high chair try and we have a wood plank table that is not the sort that could support it suctioning to the table.

EVERY SINGLE diaper change and clothing change is an epic meltdown WWIII event since he became mobile at 10 months. We have a pleasant diaper/clothing change about 1 out of 8 times.

Bath. Our tub is really deep so I have a hard time lifting her in and out. There's nowhere for me to sit so the whole thing is just really uncomfortable at 34w pregnant. Mostly Dh does it these days! I do love how she smells after she gets out though

I agree with the diaper changes - for both boys. DS1 need to potty train and DS2 needs to quit rolling and kicking while I'm changing him. The other day I got a big kick in the mouth.

@MrsSRS: We did/do something similar. If he throws food or drops it on the floor we say (and sign) "All done" and take the plate away. Normally once he's in the throwing stage he's done and doesn't want to eat any more. But if he got upset we'd ask if he wanted more (verbally and sign). If he said yes we'd ask him to sign please or more.
Now he's 21 months and most of the time will hand me his plate if he's done. But we still get occasionally times when he's mad and throws food on the floor, or times when he tries to feed it to the dog.

@Mae: I know you've had a lot of issues with feeding your LO so this might not be helpful at all, but if that were S at that age I would declare the meal time over as soon as a piece of food is thrown and not let her eat off the floor. We did something similar and made a show of it all going in the bin because she must not be hungry and she caught on quick.

Sometimes he puts up a fight for toothbrushing, that can be rough. But my least favorite thing is getting up in the morning. When he's up, he's up! No lazing around in bed for mommy...

Getting her dressed in the morning, it's a constant battle. She's becoming super picky about what she wears and will only let me put a couple of shirts and shorts on her that she approves of.

@Mae: they're smarter than you think! dD2 is almost one and if she throws her water cup more than once she loses, she loses her plate immediately after throwing it. When she starts throwing food then dinner is over. I started this around the same time with my oldest and our food , plate throwing stage was definitely much shorter than most.

For me, it's the replenishing of the wardrobe. My son is opinionated, but his opinion changes day to day. I find having to buy the same stuff over and over kind of boring and I am ALWAYS unprepared. Like it snows and we have no snow pants.

Putting him in the car seat. He's hates it since day one and at almost two it's only a little better. He flails and then goes limp and then kicks while arching his back. All while screaming. The rest of the time he's the happiest little guy but he really hates his car seat. My husband and I will fight about whose turn it is to put him in it.

@.twist.: FWIW, E's WAY more willing to brush his teeth if we're brushing ours at the same time! Monkey see and all! He does it for a bit, and is then willing to let me brush them (especially if I let him brush mine after...whatever it takes!)

Seconding bathing and putting in car seat. Bathing because DD will not sit still and likes to use the side of the tub as a water slide. Putting car seat because of all the back arching and screaming...especially when in public! Sounds like I'm trying to kidnap her!

My friend said just before two she was able to offer her son a treat if he kept everything on his tray and he did!

Getting up with DS at 5:30am because he refuses to sleep any later! He is 2 and the food throwing is still an issue. When he does it I know he isn't that hungry so I usually just take the food away, but it still hasn't stopped him.

@Mrs Panda: oh my gosh , my son screams like that at the car seat and I worry someone will call the cops on me one day! He has always hated being contained.
