For the past three summers, the owner of our company decided to do "summer hours." We normally work 5 8 hour days. In the summer - June through August, we get Friday off - and we're still paid!
It was a huge help last year when I was home on maternity leave so I didn't have to take those days as PTO and I'm really going to enjoy those Friday's this year. Mama needs a relaxing day to herself!
