@mrs. wagon: Haha we would be the best at sharing!!! I used to love normal lemonade pre-preg so I'm hoping that aversion passes. I will pick up some raspberry next time I'm at the store and report back!

I plan on having veggie sushi (I'm vegetarian so that's what I eat anyway) and the occasional coffee (maybe half-caff) just because they make me so happy and they aren't THAT bad in moderation. Alcohol, fish and lunch meat are already a non-issue. Soft serve is sad, but I think I can live 9 months without it.

My doctor said deli meats (even proscuitto) was okay—she said the issue was nitrates, not listeria, so as long as you had two servings or less per week, you were okay. I've also had soft cheeses and runny eggs!

@Minnie_Girl: wow, you sound like me!
I have basically eaten everything they say you are not supposed to eat, except for raw sushi.
I even have had a couple glasses of wine/beer (not at once, of course).
I don't think I could go a full 10 months without soft serve or a delicious deli sub from my favorite sandwich place.

Sushi, only from places I trust and only low-mercury content fish. Lunch meat - only from my own fridge. And I take a sip of my husband's beer when he gets one. I also ate a hot dog. It was SOOOO good! And corn dogs were my first pregnancy craving.
ETA: I was SO glad to see that my hot dog and ice cream place has mostly non-soft-serve ice cream. Meaning that when I do have a hot dog craving I can run and get a hot dog and a waffle cone. Score!

I've been bad with fro-yo...umm I've probably had it 10 times! But the last time I went in, the cashier said she see's a ton of pregnant women in the shop so I know it's not just me
I've had deli meat and California rolls a few times too. Blue cheese twice and Brie once...oops

FYI - the risk with Sushi is actually more the rice rather than the meat, raw fish etc. Rice can be pretty notorious for carrying bacteria such as Bacillus cereus which can leave you with nasty food poisoning!
I've eaten chicken and bacon sandwiches from Subway (with the meat heated really well), runny-ish eggs and far too much uncooked cake batter and cookie dough. I've also indulged in the occasional soft serve or milkshake but usually only from McDonald's or Wendy's.

Yesterday I had a grande frappucchino... Meant to get decaf but I didn't even realize it until I had finished it! I just got the book "panic free pregnancy" and in it he says you really don not have to worry about caffeine, sushi, etc in small amounts.

I ate a few pieces of proschuitto on a salad...also had a small glass of champagne on my babymoon and have had the occasional sip of my husbands beer. I drink a daily cup of coffee but it's not exactly banned so I don't count that because I drink within the allowable limits.

I didn't know smoked salmon was on the no-no list. Now all I want is a bagel with cream cheese, lox, and capers.
I am going to miss over-easy eggs most of all. I work from home, and have runny eggs a few times a week for lunch
