I read a website for cloth diapering parents and one of the moms had hosted a gathering at her house. (I think it was a birthday party for her kid). Most of the other parents threw their kids' disposable diapers out in the bathroom trash and she thought that was gross.
So, what do the HB posters think? We CD at home, but use disposables when we travel. This summer when DD was about 6 weeks old, we went to a graduation party out of state. The hosts graciously let us use their master bedroom for diaper changes, nursing, etc. We threw the sposies out in the bathroom trash can. Did we make a huge faux pas? We were the only people with a baby in diapers there.
Here's my thought process at the time:
1) I always empty the bathroom trash before and after hosting a party at our house
2) It's pretty gross to take diapers into the kitchen where people are eating and food is being prepped.
