@anonysquire: it's ok, DH wouldn't approve of me talking to you either! Although, all of DH's extended family lives in MN and are huge Vikings fans. So it's always been an unspoken rule at family get togethers that we don't talk about sports. It never ends pleasantly

crazy hockey fans here. we love the Bruins and our local AHL teams, the Worcester Sharks, Providence Bruins..
our friend does the radio broadcast for the Worcester Sharks and we were listening to the game the night LO was born, he gave us a mention wishing us luck. (we were also married on the ice in the middle of a game, lol) -
hopefully this kid loves hockey as much as we do!

My husband is a HUGE sports fan! I'm indifferent so I root for his teams. Can't share which ones because it's a dead location giveaway.
But yes she already has sports gear! NFL, NHL, PGA, MLB hehe
And I got her little football "babylegs"!We don't do college football though..

Lions, Tigers, Wings! Detroit is a HUGE sports town. We never go a season without attending at least one game of each! (Pistons have been sucking lately!)
As for college, we're a UMICH family GO BLUE!

@MsLipGloss: *raises hand* Guilty! I grew up in Central PA but have been a University of Michigan fan my entire life. I think it is because a) I have family in Ann Arbor and the cousin that I worshiped growing up went to Michigan, and b) I desperately wanted to cheer for anyone other than Penn State, because I hated being "told" to like Penn State just because of where we lived. So I chose one of their biggest rivals, and had loads of fun when Michigan beat them year after year...

@Mrs. Cowgirl: Omigosh, I can't stand the spangly girl shirts and pink jerseys! I was looking for something maternity, and they all have rhinestones. BARF. In the past, I've ended up buying jerseys from the Boys' department, but that clearly won't work with a big ol' preggo belly!

Nebraska has no pro-sports teams, so we aren't big on those. We are HUGE Nebraska Cornhusker fans for every sport!
Yankee fans for pro-baseball & I will route for the Chicago Bears for pro-football just because my uncle played for them, it's a family team. No pro-basketball for us, we are not fans!

@jessiejo17: I was a Chicago Bears fan growing up! My dad grew up in Chicago so he has always been a fan. When I was 6, my Dad and I used to do the SuperBowl Shuffle in our living room, hee hee. I still cheer for them now, as long as they're not playing the Steelers.

We are a divided household.
Me: San Diego Chargers and Padres; Cal Bears
DH: Seattle Seahawks and Mariners; WSU Cougars
The only team we share and cheer for together are the Seattle Sounders.

@regberadaisy: This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I don't know even know why they make it in pink. Pink is not the sports teams colors, it should NOT be an option. I also like the throwback shirts. I still need to buy a shirt for this NFL season. My shirts will not fit since they are all fitted t's.

I'm a Vikings fan and DH is a Steelers fan. In my wedding vows I said I'd always root for the Steelers unless they were playing the Vikings.

I'm originally from NY so I root for Yankees, Giants, Knicks, Rangers. I usually only watch the main sporting events though, like World Series and Superbowl, and if my team isn't playing I usually root for the underdog

Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics...and on a lesser scale the Bruins (just never been a huge hockey fan). If you grow up in MA and don't root for the home teams, they shun you!
I was born in LA, so if the Pats aren't playing I say go saints!
