Our A/C is set to 77 when we are home. It never dips below that. What do you keep your A/C set on?

We have ours set at 72 when we're home. We turn it off when we go out (which is almost never)

72 when we're home - it goes up to 75 (I think?) during the day while we're at work, then is programmed to go back down right before we get home.

78. I'm so hot lately, but DH likes it like this and it's better for our bills. When I get to be pregnant again, I get control of the air again.

75 when we're home and 85 when we're away (so that it hopefully doesn't even come on).

78. Ughhhhh. If I had my way it would be 72 but 78 is better for our bill

We have it between 70 and 72 ... depends how hot and humid it is.

78. i'd turn it off completely when we aren't home, but i worry about the cat overheating with all that fur in the summer =D

75 if we ever need it, but our windows work pretty well at keeping our place cool so we rarely turn it on.

73 downstairs and 74 upstairs . . . we bump it down on the super hot/humid days.

Currently, it's set at 74. If it was up to the hubby, it'd be 69 all the time. He likes it chilly.

74 at night and 76 during the day. @plantains I'd freeze at your house!!

We only have a window type unit at the moment but we keep it at 68 like @plantains. I turn it off when I leave for the day. If we had central air I'd probably keep it low when home as well. I grew up with it being cold in the house and I figure skated for a sport! Heat and humidity don't agree with me

We keep ours at 72 all the time although, when my daughter is at her grandparent's I crank it down to 68. I love it.

77. Sometimes it feels a little warm, like when I come inside from a run and I'm already burning up...but I freeze if it's below 74. DH prefers it much colder but he deals. He likes the low bill.

Ususally 73. We leave it on during the day because we have a bulldog who overheats easily.

One zone is set to 78 and the master BR is at 80 during the day, 72 at night.

We have a swamp cooler that we don't turn on until it hits 85 or so inside. Right now it's probably 82 in here and I'm ok. It's a super dry heat here which I think helps.

@mediagirl: same.
If there's a lot of cooking going on we'll temp hold it to 76.

It's set at 75 right now, but sometimes I'll take it down as low as 72 if I'm feeling yucky. We've been turning on the ceiling fan in our bedroom to keep the nights more comfortable.

Depends how hot it is. But usually 72, we live in a townhouse so it contains temp pretty well and we never need to have it on the whole day
