Carter's has crabs and whales everywhere. I've bought into 100% since Los nursery is whales. Plus I die for the cute little crab. If I had a girl I'd be all over flamingos!

@ladybee: I agree, lots of whales and crabs for the nautical theme.
I feel like there was a giraffe phase in there too but that seems to have gone away a bit. Thank GOODNESS the monkey phase is gone.

Lo sort of likes koalas and we recently put those in her room. They're super cute. But koalas have the potential to be not so cute too.
I think whales and nautical has always been around, or at least since I got pregnant and started looking at baby stuff!
I soooooo was not into the monkey thing.

How am I so oblivious to everything?! I had no idea foxes were the new thing...and if they're on their way out, they're clearly not that new!
I'm not a flamingo fan so I hope it doesn't go that way, but now that it's been mentioned, I have seen a fair bit if flamingo stuff lately...

I feel like anything nautical is always popular, so I agree with the flamingo/exotics prediction. My cousin-in-law (is that a thing?) just did her nursery in flamingos and her baby shower was flamingo themed, as well.

I guess I haven't noticed yet... There are some that I feel have remained constant but not a new thing- being whales, giraffes,mdinosayes, kitties, digs etc... They're always there.
I did see target had the most adorable zebra dress this summer!

I love anything nautical and/or tropical, so I love the nautical thing, and flamingos! That would be awesome.

Tropical things. Crabs, pineapples, flamingos, whales. So cute and very Florida. Pretty convenient as that's where I live

I'm also guessing pineapples and flamingos. But, they're already kinda big right now, just not FOX big, so maybe they've hit their peak?
