It's from 5:30-8pm here. Last year it was freezing and rainy so it stopped earlier but tonight is looking good, weather wise, so we will just go until the girls get tired.

We always go to a friend's house/neighborhood and we start around 5:30/5:45. I'm thinking since it's a Monday and school day tmrw, it'll end earlier.

Ours always starts with the very small kids around 330-4 but the main event is probably 5-8.

I think the most kids come from 6-8. We shut off our lights at 8. DD was out from 6:30-7:30 and that was long enough for her.

I think it's 5 or 5:30 until 8pm. I shut the light off at 7:30 though, as we started getting DD down for bed.

Ours was 6-8. According to Dh, they had a police officer was was driving down the street at 8 making sure people were heading in.

There are official TOTing times? That is a totally foreign concept to me. I see kids out as early as 5-ish, and I feel like when I was younger, I was sometimes out as late as 9? And at our old house (where we got ToT'ers), I'd put up a sign and put out the bowl, and people would definitely come past 8:30ish.

I never knew there were times you could go out but I've heard of a few places this year.
When I was getting home from work at 5pm there were a couple kids out, but most of our neighbourhood was not home then. The bulk of kids seemed to be 7-8pm. We went out at 6pm for about 25 min. After 8 I just left our bowl out since DS was in bed.

I think it was 5:00-8:00 as well. But there were so few trick-or-treaters and even fewer houses that gave out candy. Halloween's apparently a new phenomenon in Sweden.

Our town does 3-5, then 6-8 (hour dinner break in there). We went out from 3-5, then handed out candy from 6-7. We turn off the doorbell and lights at 7, because DS2 goes to bed.

We left our house at 6:15, and that's when most people started going out as well. It died down a lot by 7:30, and we turned off our lights soon after. Typical for a school night, although later we did see a van driving by looking for houses at 9. If Halloween is on a weekend it will go past 8.

Our official town hours this year were 6-8. Most towns in MA seem to have official hours and they're either 5-7 or 6-8. I'm really glad ours was 6-8, we didn't get out of the house until almost 7.

We don't have official hours but last night we saw people from about 6-8:30

About 6-8. We had one very little kid come around 5:45. There may have been some after 8 but it was definitely slowing down and we shut off our lights then.
