Game #1: Baby food taste test
- divide into two groups.
- each group has one "victim" and she is blindfolded and fed a bunch of different jarred baby foods and she has to guess what it is. Whoever has the most correct answers, wins.

Game #2: I had a list of animals and each person had to write the baby animal name for it (ie. cat - kitten, dog - puppy).

Game #3: I got a bunch of diapers and melted different types of chocolate bars into each one (one type of chocolate per diaper) and each participant had to look or smell (not taste or touch) the chocolate and guess what chocolate bar it was (I used kitkat, o henry, caramilk, crunchie, and reese peanut butter cups).

I would do games then if you want to keep people more entertained.

An easy and cheap one I did was "My water broke" people really liked that one and it was easy. You just wait for the ice cube to melt and the small plastic baby to be free and first one melted screams "My water broke". (Got the small plastic babies at Michaels)
The word ones are easy to print up and pass out and dont cost you much at all.
I would have small prizes for the winners. I figured how many games I was going to do and then buy SMALL gifts for the winner of each game. I would jsut walk around like target or BB&B and find like candles or lotions or something.

Another thing I did with the Moms to be REALLY liked was that on the invitations I put "One small request that won't be too hard, Please bring a book instead of a card"
Basically people sign a childrens book to the future LO instead of a card.

Oh boy...the baby food and poopy diaper games. I told my friends not to try to pull that at my shower! LOL!

I love the animal and baby name idea. I also like the water breaking game. Those sound fun!

My friend made a trivia game with questions/answers about me, which was a great way to get to know the baby mama & daddy too. For example, some of the questions were:

1) Where was banana born?
2) How many pounds was banana when she was born?
3) Banana and Mr. Banana secret hope their LO will grow up to be: a) golfer 2) veterinarian 3) doctor 4) professional basketball player
4) What do they plan on naming their boy/girl? (this was where we revealed the baby name we chose!)

Anyway, those were just a few examples and you can be as creative/funny as you want.
