We have 2 strollers - BOB and city mini. I want to get rid of the city mini and get a city select so I can convert to a double when necessary for #2. Our nanny beat up the city mini and it isn't in great condition, the front wheel no longer swivels, the rubber on the handle is split and there are some stains (but I may be able to wash).
I don't feel like its in good enough condition to sell or donate, but I don't want to just throw it away. Any ideas?

Put it up on Craigslist as "for free" ! That's what we do and then people know what they are getting. I'm sure there is someone who doesn't care about those things not working.

I would put it on Craigslist for free or really cheap (sometimes when it's free people things something is really wrong with it). It would be nice to have at a grandparents house or something.

I recently sold my stroller on Craigslist. I thought I wouldn't be able to get rid of it, because the mechanism that locks the stroller when folded no longer works, but it sold in less than 1 day and for more than I was expecting. I actually sold it because I ended up getting the City Select

I bet you could still sell it! Put it cheap, but list the flaws and I stil guarantee it sells!

I also considered the gramma idea and need to ask my mom. Too bad my MIL doesnt live closer, she would take it. She LOVES used stuff.
