DS is turning 2 at the end of March and I'm not quite sure what to get him! We live in a small condo so it can't take up too much space. I'd like to get him a fun toy he'll find interesting for the next year or two (wishful thinking?). Any suggestions? Do you think 2 is too young for Magnatiles or Magformers?

We had considered magna tiles this year! but we wanted to get him multiple items so we went with a few less expensive things. His birthday is tomorrow and this is what we got him:

A couple carters outfits that he needed anywayI know J is really into building, which is why we went with legos. We had also considered additional tracks for his train, he loves building the tracks.
Puzzles and books are good for this age too.

@lawbee11: That's so awesome! He's been more interested in what I do in the kitchen lately. This would be a great distraction for him while I cook. He can "cook" along side me.

Do you have yard space?
I'd get some sort of outdoor toy like a slide, hoop or house. -
@keiki_mama: this toy (but inside). We have this for LO but I think a 2 year old would get better use out of it. Our 16m old doesn't really know what it is.
