So a former co-worker is having a surprise sprinkle for her second child. Since its a surprise, she doesn't have a registry or anything available, so I'm at a loss as to what to get her. I don't see her regularly anymore either so I don't think I could subtly search for hints. Her first is a girl, and she is expecting a boy, so that does seem to open some possibilities. Since I don't have any LOs of my own yet I'm desperate for some advice!

*Gift certificate to a restaurant she likes or a place where her SO can pick up food.
*A pass to a kid's place her daughter can go, like a kid's museum or bouncy place, for a day when they're home bored. -
What about some A+A blankets in a fun pattern?

Same dilemma right now for me. I ended up getting new baby boy some clothes from 6-12 months and I'm getting big sister a stuffed animal that reads its books with the child
