One of my good friends is having her 3rd baby next month, and are going team green. She has one girl and one boy already. What does she need the most? I already have some neutral 0-3 month sleepers for her.
If it helps, she breastfeeds, uses disposables and both her previous children were summer babies (so she has warm weather stuff). And she doesn't live near me, so I have to ship what I purchase. Ideas?

You can never go wrong with diapers and wipes! If you have prime you ship them for free that way or maybe a gift card and tell her to go buy some diapers on you

Agreed diapers, that is the most coveted item I want for baby 2, I can only imagine #3 would love diapers even more.

I always like to give a little personalized something because I feel like the first baby always gets a ton of stuff and the later kids get so many hand-me-downs.

@mrs.shinerbock: That is a sweet idea, but what do you suggest if you don't know sex or name? Or just wait until after the birth to send stuff?

Third time mamas would appreciate sweet things that a practical 3rd time mama would never buy for herself. Beautiful burp cloths, decadent Robieez shoes, Hoodie towels. The kinds of things we got for our showers with our first but are now all grimy and grey and you never get for later babies!
I think 3rd time mamas would weep at anything beautiful!

As a team green mom, I loved A&A blankets, wubbanubs, Zoli teething sticks, big hooded towels, books... Little things that I wouldn't have thought of to buy myself !

Lol are we friends and I didn't realize? Im having my third and am Team Green. I have a boy and a girl already Both mine are June babies. I breastfed use disposables and I don't know where you live but there is a good chance we dont live near each other.
All kidding aside as a third time mom I think gift cards are always nice since you will need to replace some things like bottles and pacifiers. A nice splurge item for the baby would always be nice too.

@Tanjowen: it didn't click that you wouldn't know the name, but something after the baby arrives would be nice. I also agree with PPs about something nice that the mom probably received at the shower, but wouldn't buy now like new blankets or some cute Robeez.

By my third, I needed new cribbing. Granted, my first two used the same bedding, but that was totally shot. I totally agree with @Mrs. Jacks: anything really nice that the first baby gets is totally gross by now.
Think burp cloths, holiday outfits, teething toys, etc.
How far apart are her other kids? My first is almost 5, my second is almost 3 and so I splurged and bought a rock n' play because it didn't exist when I had my first. Anything like that?

Her other babies are 5 and 2, so yeah, a lot of stuff will be nice and worn out. I didn't even think about it because I have only one LO, and I"m thinking, "Who needs another hooded towel?" 
@Mrs. Chocolate: If your kids names begin with P and A, then we need to talk! I like the gift card idea too.

@Tanjowen: Ah no P & A here a D & J! Such weird coincidences though. I think I might blog about this as a 3rd time mom what would I would buy for a 3rd child since we have so much stuff already.

@Tanjowen: All the 2nd/3rd time moms I know (myself included) like getting blankets for the new baby. That seems to be one of the things no one buys after the first baby, and then LO1 has lots of blankets and LO2/LO3 have minimal

We just have 2 LOs now, but I can see needing/wanting new crib sheets, diapers, wipes. I agree with everything @Mrs. Jacks said!
