DD is 14 months and I'm realizing most of her toys are too babyish for her now. I'd like to get her some new ones that she'll enjoy for the next year or so. The only ones we have she currently really likes are her blocks, a ball, stacking rings, and one of the Melissa and Doug hinge puzzles.
What does/did your LO like to play with in the second year?

Her doll stroller and Bitty Baby, books, puzzles, the toy kitchen, tea set and Beatbo are probably her favorites. Oh, and blocks of all sorts - Hape wooden shapes, duplos, megablocks, etc. She's also currently obsessed with bouncy balls and carries them with her everywhere.

DD is 21 months her favorites are: Play kitchen and food, wooden blocks, little people/the bus, doll stroller and doll, bead maze, leapfrog Violet, a pillow pet mini, and books - all the books!
Oh, I gave her some of my old clutches and small purses and she is obsessed. Carries them around all day and puts random things inside.

She likes playing with her old baby blankets and bibs too, spreads them out to put her toys on or lie down on or put her doll on/in. Or spread the blanket over the dog.

DS loves:
- Stroller and baby
- Blocks (we have mega blocks, wooden blocks and magnatiles and he loves them all)
- Wooden Thomas the Train tracks
- Instruments (Melissa & Doug piano and a Remo drum, plus lots of little maracas and stuff like that)
We don't have one because of space, but in our building playroom or when we visit others he loves the play kitchen and all of the accessories.
