I have gotten ones (or seen on Facebook) where baby literally JUST came out and was still covered in birth-y stuff (blood, amniotic fluid, etc.) and I've also gotten ones where the mom is naked and holding the baby.
My personal preference is that LO and I both be dressed and not covered in the aftermath of labor lol.

The first picture we shared was from the delivery room shortly after her arrival, but was after she was wiped down and her little hat was put on. This was right after doc finished the stitches, and they gave her back to me. I look crazy, but I love it.

My husband sent out a few when he went home to shower (no wifi at the hospital and we're old school and don't have smart phones yet), so I didn't get to vette them ahead of time. Unfortunately for me, one of the pics he included had a full on nipple shot of me - it was a cute pic of the baby and I was smiling so he said he never even noticed the nipple. I'm quite sure everyone else did though, ugh!

First photo is 4 hours after birth, second photo is the first one of us together, after I'd showered and eaten, etc.
My mum uploaded them to Facebook (with my permission) after she'd texted the big announcement to the important people
