@autumnlove: I did accidentally. I don't like spice, but DH does. I put a little too much chili powder in it. LOL

Deer roast, with sliced onions and brussels sprouts! Splashed it with soy sauce and worcestershire, drizzled in some honey, sprinkled over a good dose of salt and pepper, ground ginger, garlic powder, and crushed chili pepper flakes and left it cook for 10 hours. It was amazing!

@winniebee: I was just browsing around last night for a recipe for this! Do you have one you recommend? I was going to try it out for the Super Bowl. Also, I read in a lot of reviews that folks had better luck putting the wings under the broiler for a few minutes once they were done cooking. Did you do the same?

@MrsHotDog: Hi there!
So here's what we do:
- In crockpot, hit stick of butter and 1 large bottle of franks hot sauce (we do not use the buffalo style) - add a little more franks if it seems like you need more liquid
- Heat veg. oil in pot on stove (if you have splatter guard for oil, use it)
- Fry wings in hot oil until cooked through, but not until crispy
- Transfer wings to crockpot and let simmer for as long as you want/can (at lesat an hour)
- Put wings under broiler for a few minutes right before serving
Serve w/ celery & blue cheese. Have fun!

Chicken for my daughter. I took some old (and freezer burned) thighs and breasts and slow cooked them with spices for a few hours. Tender, delicious chicken. She loved it. Easiest way to make chicken if you have a few hours. It just fell apart.
