I registered for a jogging stroller that was about $200 but it wasn't available in the store, so my impasse purchased a different travel system for us. Other than that, everything was under $100.

We did end up buying a jogging stroller later on and that was the most expensive baby item we've purchased. It's good quality, so I hope it will last through all of our kids.

I think it was her dresser- $425.

We didn't register for our crib because my mom offered to buy it first... but that was $399.
We were given our travel system by my MIL ($300) which would have been on the registry too had she not offered to gift it to us first.
I also registered for a double electric breastpump which I did not get... somewhere in the $300 range...

Most expensive was the crib that my Grandma got us. I did get all my big items : pack n play, bassinet, swing, travel system. I was sooooo lucky! The only thing I didn't get were my cloth diapers.

Our registry had small items. THe most expensive was an umbrella stroller. My father & step mom bought us our glider, my inlaws the stroller/playpen/highchair and the furniture.

Wow, I'm surprised how low most of your "biggest items" cost. I have a private amazon registry now, to keep track of things I research and find for later, and a lot of things are 200+. Travel crib, breast pump, stroller, crib, car seat... now I'm wondering if it would be bad to put those on the actually registry when we DO get pregnant. Should we just purchase all the bigger items ourselves and not put them on the registry?

I put big items on because my mom said people will go in on things. I think the most $$ right now is the CityMini at $249, followed by swing at $149, and pack n play & highchair both at 109. I have been putting things as bought that I buy myself so people don't assume I didn't think of it and buy it - we are likely buying the bedset ourselves but putting it as purchased so people can match

We didn’t put our really expensive items on the registry as MIL insisted on buying them in person, herself. If we had, it would have been the BOB stroller at around $500. The crib and the glider were both right around $300 each.

I think the Motorola baby video monitor system was our most expensive registry item – it was just purchased for us this weekend!

The most expensive item on our registry is our high chair ($230). We bought the crib and travel system on our own, but had it on our registry for tracking purposes.
I doubt anyone will buy the high chair because it's on our Amazon registry and only our Target registry seems to be getting any action (only 2 items have been purchased from our BRU registry). My second (and final) shower is this upcoming Sunday.

probably our glider from Giggle. it was over $1K. but the only reason i put it on our registry was for us to buy it ourselves and get the 10% discount at the end.

I totally forgot about completion savings....I might need to add a few things to my registries now.

@Arden: I put all those less crib on registry... For 10% registry completion discount... Got a car seat and pump and in laws gave us cash so we got cribs... Doesn't hurt to put it in the registry, but unless you have well off friends or lots of family, you'll prolly not get it all.

What did they say about the StorkCraft? I don't remember anything about it? I bought the StorkCraft one and should be here in a few days!

We currently just have a secret Amazon registry that I use to keep track of the things I like, but the most expensive item we have on there is a jogging stroller at $250. We've already been told that we are being gifted a crib (new, but we haven't chosen yet) and a diaper bag. Both of those items are going to be ~$200 each.

Our most expensive purchases are the stroller and car seat. We didn't do a registry, but in general, I am of the mindset that you should put on what you want and if people don't want to buy it for you, they won't.

We had everything on there, more of a list for myself because I listed my crib even though I knew that my parents were buying that. I registered for my pump, crib, stroller, etc but a lot of them were bought my in-laws, parents or even just ourselves
