I attended some pretty cool parties. Two rank as the most memorable. One was a party for a girl in my friend clique. We had a pool party in the middle of winter in DC. The hotel on top of Mazza Gallerie has an indoor pool and we took it over. The pool was heated too. Then we ate at CPK nd I was still in my no - pizza phase so I ordered pasta. I was the only kid not eating pizza. We felt so grown up.
The other party was for a girl I was more school - friends with and I think she invited the entire class to her party. We were split into groups and basically had field day at her house. She lived on a hill. Each kid had a turn trying to crawl up her hilly front yard that was covered in shaving cream. It was so much fun.

I was jealous of my bff that had a birthday party at McDonald's when we were young lol. I loved that everyone wore hats & got to eat fast food (which was a treat to me when I was young!)

Dang, I must have been to some boring birthday parties, because nothing stands out! Haha
The only one I can remember was pretty cool. A friend had a pretty low-key mom, who generally let her do whatever she wanted. She was obsessed with glow in the dark, so her mom got her a bunch of glow in the dark paints and stickers, and we ATTACKED her room with paints and stars and doodles. Then we had a sleepover in her room and it was AWESOME! The thought of that now is giving me hives (drawing on carpet, furniture and walls...), but it was pretty awesome as a kid

I remember a friend renting a hotel room and we got to swim and play mini golf (it had a mini golf course inside.) We thought it was pretty cool.
I still remember my little sister attending a princess party that they all dressed up & she came home with a wine glass that had jewels glued to it, and even being the older sister I thought that was pretty sweet

Hmm...memorable in a good way or a bad way? LOL.
In a good way - For my 16th birthday party my mom took a bunch of my friends and I horseback riding on a trail outside of town, then had a sleepover with all my favorite foods. For someone else's party, a girl I had recently become friends with invited me to hers, and we were all being ridiculous on her trampoline with bubbles, dishsoap, and a hose. It was probably dangerous but we thought it was so much fun, and all of her friends were really nice and welcoming, so I made some new friends - rare for me since I was so shy.
In a bad way - When I was in 5th grade a new girl in class had a sleepover and invited all the girls. Her parents gave her The Craft for us to watch. Needles make me extremely queasy and I ended up getting sick in front of everyone during a certain scene. My parents had to come pick me up and were completely horrified with her parents. It was bad.
